Q&A
- Are the products legally marketed in the EU?
Products lawfully placed on the market in one Member State can be placed on the market in other EU countries without hindrance. Placing on the market means making a product available on the European Union market for the first time, i.e. producing it or importing it from outside the European Union. The products in the TERME range are products authorised for marketing in EU member states. - Do the products bear the CE mark?
Products lawfully placed on the market in one Member State may be marketed without hindrance in other EU countries. Placing on the market means making a product available on the European Union market for the first time, i.e. manufacturing it or importing it from outside the European Union. The products on offer at TERME are products that are authorised for marketing in EU Member States. - Will I receive a billing invoice for intra-Community supplies?
TERME carries out purchases with a vat rate of 0% for companies registered within the European Union and based outside Poland. A company wishing to execute an WDT order must have a valid VIES identification number, registered for intra-Community transactions, assigned by the Member State competent for the buyer, containing the two-letter code used for value added tax. The WDT order is carried out only by shipping the goods outside Poland to the company’s official address. At the customer’s request, it is possible to issue a VAT invoice in Euro. - What is WDT?
WDT is an intra-Community supply of goods. It consists in the export of goods from the country for the benefit of a taxpayer conducting business activity in another country of the European Union. WDT occurs, for example, when a Polish company sells goods to an entrepreneur who conducts business in EU countries and is an EU VAT taxpayer. - Costs and terms of delivery.
We determine the costs and terms of delivery for foreign shipments individually before finalising the transaction. This depends on the destination country, the weight of the consignment, the dimensions and the form of delivery preferred by the ordering party. You can check the cost of delivery by contacting us via the contact form on this page. - Guarantee and returns.
The guarantee and return policy for private customers is governed by EU regulations. Which imposes a 2-year guarantee period on the item in question. The applicable regulations are indicated in the Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2011 on consumer rights and related guidelines. If the manufacturer has issued a European guarantee for the item, the complaint may be lodged with a service point in any country in which the manufacturer has a branch.
The above provisions apply to purchases made by individual customers. However, in the case of purchases by companies, the terms of returns and guarantees are agreed individually before the order is completed. Please contact us using the contact form on this page.
